An-Najah National University Hospital (NNUH) is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the following position:
Electrical Engineer
Essential Job Functions:
1. Design of electrical projects, preparing bills of quantities, specifications, and every related document.
2. . Familiarity with and knowledge of electrical testing devices and everything related to electrical testing systems and measurements on the low voltage networks and low current networks.
3. Supervising the implementation of projects according to the specifications, local and international laws.
4. Audit and check contractors' works according to laws, procedures and specifications.
5. Reviewing, auditing and approving project abstracts
6. The ability to coordinate with different engineering branches related to the works and projects.
7 . The ability to prepare reports, and having good communication skills
8. Familiarity with and knowledge of programmed logic controllers, remote controls and monitoring devices.
9. Follow up the installation and programming of control devices.
10. Has the ability to deal with devices, review, and audit and operate BMS and PLC devices.
11. Good knowledge of electrical low voltage systems: BMS, CCTV, PBX, fire alarm, access control, telecommunication systems …etc.
12. Electrical maintenance of hospital buildings.
13. Ability to read and understand catalogs, specifications and electrical drawings.
14. The ability to prepare electrical diagrams using computer programs and related programs.
15. The ability to deal with various types of electrical and electronic devices and identify faults.
Minimum Required Education, Experience & Skills:
1. The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a grade of “very good” at least, with a specialization in Power Electricity.
2. Documented work experience of not less than five years.
3. The applicant must be a member of the Engineers association.
4. The applicant must have excellent skills with computer programs, programming and related engineering programs.
5. He must have a good Fluency in Arabic and English languages, reading, writing and speaking.
6. The ability to manage, analyze and propose appropriate solutions.
7. The ability to carry out field work and transportation and to withstand work pressure.
8. Having a leadership personality and taking responsibility and initiative.
